Dear clients,

At Yoshiko Hair the health and wellbeing of our clients is really important to us. When you visit our salon we want you to leave feeling and looking your absolute best.

With the spread of COVID-19 we are taking extra precautions to make sure the salon is next level clean, so that you know when you visit us you are in safe hands.

As an Australian Hairdressing Council Gold Select salon we have always maintained the highest health and hygiene practices, however we have upped our game.

All surfaces including chairs, doors and door handles, benches, bathrooms and other objects that come in contact with our clients are thoroughly wiped down between clients with hospital grade disinfectant. We have removed our hand towels from the bathroom and replaced it with paper towels and we are purifying the air with antiviral essential oils. While we shall will only be allowing one client at anytime in the salon.

Our team is playing it really safe outside the salon. However, if one of us had any symptoms or came into contact with anyone being tested for COVID-19 we would self-isolate until results were known.

If you feel unwell or feel that you have been exposed please reschedule your appointment with us.

We shall continue to follow all health guidelines from the Australian government and shall update our procedures to reflect these changes.

After a bit of break Yoshiko Hair have returned to the studio with photographer Peter Rosetzky . Since the inception of Yoshiko our photographic work, has always been one of the foundations of our Creativity. For over 13years under the direction of  Yoshiko's  Creative Director Dani Blakeley, the salon has been creating Hair Fashion which is sort after around the Globe.

Yoshiko Hair's Cut and Colour work has been published across Australia and around the Globe. True Hair Influencers who's work has been published on Front Covers of Magazines in Australia, Spain, New Zealand, Itay, England and the United States. With Collections published in dozens of Hair Magazines, plus used in numerous National Cut and Colour Advertising campaigns.

Our latest shoot at Yoshiko is client focused. Yoshiko Hair's known style of Sexy and Wearable hair is showcased in our latest shoot. With a bit of a twist! Drawing on the impressive Creativity and Technical knowledge of Dani, Hass and Natalie, this shoot will be showcasing forthcoming seasonal Hair Colours and Styles. Both Hass and Dani are members of National Creative teams while Natalie has been a National Technical Educator.

Colourful hair was once the realm of the Counter Culture. Not any more. Over the last couple of years we have seen colourful hair grow in popularity, with every day clients.  This summer we forecast that colourful balayage, along with strong block colours shall be popular. In demand will be pastels to strong fashion colours. Pinks, purples, greens and blues shall all be in vogue. This range of colours as tested in the salon and around the globe has proven to be very long lasting. In some cases far exceeding the claimed 17 washes. Used in conjunction with #smartbond and L'Oreal Blondes we have had some great results playing with this product in our St Kilda salon.
