Perth Fashion Festival has seen a continued move away from the classic pony tale, to a more playful take on runway hair.
 L'Oreal Professional was the official hair partner for this years festival. With eight shows, showcasing a wide variety of hair styles required Caroline call upon her broad skill set. Over twenty different hair concepts used during the festival. Caroline worked on everything from blonde  50's bobs, heavily textured beach hair, stylised braids,wet  textured looking hair, classic finger waves and of course pony tails. 
Some of the varied styles Caroline worked on  include Akria  show. Where we saw Akria matching his signature style with causal runners. Hair was pulled back at the front and netted. While the back was blown out and texturised. Hot Chinese newcomer Langli brought his latest collection to Perth. He is quickly building a strong following around the globe. Hair was slicked back pulled into a topknot, with finely sculpted fringes. One of favourite shows of the festival was that of local Jamie Lee, with her demi couture label. Her amazing clothes were matched with an equally amazing set. Hair was playful. Blonde 50's lobobs featured in the show. 
Caroline remarked how, " I loved taking my hairdressing skills from the salon to the runway". Pushing boundaries Caroline loved, expanding on her skills in a fast pace environment. Working with a big team was a highlight, as was  the fact as the week proceed Caroline's role expanded from assisting to  a more hands on role.
Over the festival L'Oreal ran a VIP Blow-dry Bar, which Caroline worked two days on the floor for two days including one day were she managed the bar. 
Caroline is in the final year of her apprenticeship at Yoshiko Hair. She represented Yoshiko and L'Oreal Professional at this years festival. She is is a part of Yoshiko's colour team. Yoshiko offers a $39 Express Blowdry with Caroline. Conditions apply

L'Oreal Professional Australia are currently releasing their #BLONDEFIDENT advertising campaign across Australia. This and other films that showcase L'Oreal's new blondes, were filmed at St Kilda's Yoshiko Hair. Featuring Yoshiko's own blonde experts Dani and Zarah .
Over the 10 years since Yoshiko has been operating Dani and the team have done many photo shoots  for colour companies. Producing imagery for colour company, national advertising and educational  campaigns. Yet Dani said " Working on  #blondefident for L'Oreal Professional was by far the best campaign she has worked on as it features on you  the client".
Although Jessica's makeover could be considered extreme.The film shows you that in the capable hands of a blonde expert at Yoshiko, they are able to bring out the best in you.
